Challenge Services Overview
How many people do we provide services to in a year?
In an average year, 700 – 800 individuals.
How many people do we provide services to in a typical month?
An average of approximately 350 people.
Breakdown of type of service and numbers in one month:
- 45 received intensive (job development & coaching) services
- 150 received extended (long term support) services
- 75 received work center services
- 20 received STEPS (DSS) services
- 65 received benefits advisement (DPN, BPAO, TtW)
Who provides the services?
The majority of our services are provided by: Employment Advisors, Job Developers, Training Specialists
and
Job Club Facilitators. In addition we have on staff a Benefits Coordinator, Occupational Therapist, Rehabilitation Counselors, Speech Therapist and
Consulting Psychologist.
Caseloads average 20 individuals.
How do we fund our services?
Our services are funded through a combination of federal, state, county, & grant monies that come through approximately 20 funding streams. There is never any charge to an individual for our services; however we do need to establish individual eligibility for one of our funders in order to provide services.
